Saturday 29th March our first party of holidaymakers arrive to stay for the week in Stags View Lodge, when they depart we have another booking directly after them and considering it has only been available for a very short time, bookings are coming in thick and fast, if anyone is considering a holiday in the future, book now!! even if we order the next new unit shortly, it would be some months before it is ready.
Arriving during the wettest period of the winter in mid February it has taken to nearly the end of March to arrange for Stags View Lodge to be ready for the first visitors. The sourcing furniture and fittings took longer than expected as we wanted to achieve a superior finish.
Building the decking veranda took somewhat longer than anticipated, the end result gives access to the lodge directly from the car parking space with a level walkway, so no steps need to be negotiated, this area extends the whole of the length of the lodge and then curves around in front of the french doors to give a wide area from which to view the woodland and wildlife, hence the name “Stags View Lodge” on balmy days you can sit in the rocking chairs provided and read, relax or just view.

Centrally heated by radiators with a flame effect electric fire in the Lounge.
Main bedroom with King size bed 1000 pocket spring mattress, bedside tables and lights, built in wardrobe, radiator, Flat screen wall mounted TV, en-suite shower, wc, wash basin with heated towel rail. Hairdryer
Second Bedroom with 2 single beds 1000 pocket spring mattresses, bedside table and lights, built in wardrobe, radiator, Flat screen wall mounted TV, en-suite with Bath with Shower over wc, wash basin with heated towel rail.
Lounge with leather sofas, TV and DVD player, iPod docking/Bluetooth speaker, oak dining table and 4 chairs, breakfast bar and 2 oak stools,
Kitchen full range of cupboards, integrated dishwasher, Fridge and Freezer, storage for coats etc, iron and ironing board also provided.
On the decking veranda 2 Rocking Chairs and also a Gin & Tonic or Sweetheart seats with table between are provided.
Linen and towels are provided along with electricity and gas within the hire fees.
