How long is the season?

The season runs from the 1st March to 15th January the following year- there will always be a closed period.

Do you accept touring caravans or tents?

No, we are a quiet holiday park and do not accommodate touring caravans or tents.

Do you have an age restriction on the holiday homes?

New holiday homes have a tenancy of 15 years, subject to our sites agreement. Pre-owned holiday homes are pro-rata according to the date of manufacture and the condition of the holiday home. A yearly extension could occur after the 15 years, and this would be detailed in our sales order letter for each pre-owned unit.

Can I live here permanently?

No, Silver Trees has planning permission for and site licence as a holiday home park- you can not make it your permanent residential home. In addition, you cannot receive mail or undertake any other necessities that would be carried out from your permanent residence elsewhere. In order to purchase your holiday home, proof of your main residence is required (for example, your utility bill).

Can I use Silver Trees as a base if my main home is abroad?

Yes, you can use Silver Trees as a base, providing you have a permanent residential home elsewhere. Many owners return in the year to visit family and friends in Staffordshire, whilst enjoying their own space and restful location of Silver Trees Holiday Park.

Do you sell to families?

No, we don’t sell to families, as our park is a peaceful, scenic retreat best suited to quiet couples. Families are welcome to hire a holiday home for a short break either through Hoseasons or through ourselves but unfortunately, cannot purchase one.

Can I bring my own holiday home on site?

No, to maintain the quality and appearance of the park, we only offer new holiday homes or pre-owned units already situated on Silver Trees. Please visit our sales page on the website for current availability and details.

Is there a shop on site?

No, there is no shop on site. The local town of Rugeley is approximately 2 miles from the site and has a Tesco, Morrisons, Aldi and Iceland.

Do you have a club house or bar?

No, the only facilities on site are the swimming pool and tennis court- this ensures that the peace and quiet of the park is maintained.

Can I rent out my holiday home commercially?

No, commercial letting is not permitted. However, your immediate family—such as an adult son or daughter and their children—are welcome to stay. To preserve the peaceful environment and appeal of Silver Trees, third-party use is not allowed.

Are footballs and bikes etc allowed on the park?

No, to help preserve our special environment, we do not allow bicycles or footballs on the park. This ensures the deer feel safe enough to wander close to the holiday homes, giving guests the rare chance to observe them just feet away.
