Today a film crew and presenter Rebecca came from BBC Midlands today to view Silver Trees Holiday Park on Cannock Chase in Staffordshire, our unique location within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, an “Oasis of Peace and Quiet” which has become a holiday destination since 1949 for thousands of visitors from the Midlands and further afield. The Fallow Deer that reside on Cannock Chase can be seen daily on Silver Trees enjoying grazing and relaxing on our parkland and Nature Reserve. Over recent years our commitment to the wildlife that visit the park has been reflected in the awarding of the Gold Standard Award by the David Bellamy Conservation Awards scheme operated by the BH&HPA, the trade association for quality holiday parks in the UK.
The filming should be aired during the BBC Midlands Today News slots during the week commencing the 13th October along with other items on Cannock Chase.
